Emmentaler, a nightly snack - "Say Cheeeese!" - straight from Tirol, Austria

The danish photographer Simon Hogsberg just launched a very interesting art piece - the thought project. Over a period of 3 months Simon stopped 150 strangers on the street and asked them what they were thinking about the second before he stopped them. Using a mic and a dictaphone
he recorded what they told him, then took a picture of them. 55 of the
150 thoughts are presented on the above website as quotes. The interviews took
place in Copenhagen, Denmark and New York City. Check it out!

After a 13hour train ride I was pretty happy to finally arrive in Vienna although it was a lot more relaxed than last time. I opened the fridge and spotted all this yummy food my mother organised for me ;) Here's a nightly creative picture I took after I created this smiley out of vegetables and ham.

Need Colors?

December 4th, 2004

There is a very cool color scheme generator located at http://www.wellstyled.com/tools/colorscheme2/index-en.html . Check it out!

Judith, the photographer I'm assisting with light/shoots and I have once again co-produced an image collection. Our second one after the "Couple Shoots" we did a couple of months ago. This time it was about portraits of a hippie, punk, marilyn manson-type and tattoo-girl. For that action we rented a Kodak Professional 14n Digital Camera with 14 million pixels. Wow! Great quality, great size, great to get images with approx. 4500×3000pixels. Shitty when it gets to sorting out and saving them. One Pic takes up to 15-20MB and you can imagine how long it takes to just even open one. I'll post some pics when I know which photos are selected (still 2-3 months *yawn* ;-)

I've released a photo collection of 42 Business Images with fStop a couple of months ago and the pictures are now available at Getty Images too! Click Nader Cserny on the page for more pictures.

I wanna thank all my lovely friends who participated in this crazy
photo action. Sometimes in suits, sometimes weird, sometimes during the
cold and rainy days, sometimes when it was hot, sometimes dirty… and
all this great effort over such a long period of time. Thanks boys and
girls! You're on Getty Images ;-))

I've visited a very modern interior design fair at a very classic location, the "Hofburg" in Vienna. Exhibited Objects: Toilets by Starck, Koziol Items, Rolf Benz Couches, … Those showerheads and lights would fit nice into my apartment.

Funny Flexible Shower Heads. You can slap asses with them. Pam! ;-)

There's a great site out there showing you the possibilities and effects of photo retouching, which every model has to go through after the shooting ;-) Check out Elektronische Schoenheit for some Before-After-Images. Common corrections are: leg stretching, nose adaptation, eye-color change, pimple-removal, …

I recently came across a very cool photography magazine, 28mm.org. A site with lots of quality pictures and huge issue archive.  I especially like the photo series 120° in Amsterdam and My New York. Another good site is located at 990000.com.
