Found near Arnswalder Platz, Prenzlauer Berg.
Apparently this cart belongs to a fashion store across the street.
I was sitting in an Indian Restaurant the other day and drank a mango juice poured in a glass branded with Looza.
Interesting as the brand name sounds more like a hiphop-flavored slang
word (Looser -> Looza) than a tasty beverage. After a little bit of
research I found out the company was founded in Belgium, exists since
1948 and was bought by PepsiCo in 1998. Don’t they know what Looza
means or are they intentionally playing with the name?

Maybe some of you remember my picture series from last summer about “From Punk to Chic: Why Dogshit in Berlin isn’t a problem anymore”. If you don’t it doesn’t matter. The fact is people here in Friedrichshain must have gotten pretty pissed off with dogshit as they initiated another fun and typical Berlin-style project: “Reclaim the streets” . Everybody is invited to create a dogshit-free zone in front of his house. It just started yesterday but already a lot of stinky dogshit has been replaced by a lot of smelly flowers. Mhm, that’s better!

The X-Games were always the place to be for Xtreme sportsmen and women but check out these pictures: simply amazing! I didn’t know those guys are jumping 40 meters with their skidoos. That must be fun, actually that’s the only way to have fun in winter next to snowboarding ;-)

The autofair has once again taken place at the Messegel�nde in Vienna and people were able to take a close look at all kind of cars. We want to focus on the really outstanding ones. Audi showed its futuristic car from the film I-Robot, Citroen its World Rally Car, Volkswagen the concept car in the form of a SUV, Lamborghini, Ferrari, and many more to go. Matteo took some pictures for you.

Happy new year 2005 to all of you! I hope you'll be spending your night and day as expected. Personally I like to have it more relaxed so I'm not gonna play the monkey in bars ;-) I'll be spending "the night" (woohoo) and a couple more days in Budapest, Hungary. Looking forward to experience the city's culture. I was told the flair is similar to Austria. I'll be back on the 3rd of January 2005 with some pics.
